Upcoming Off Broadway Productions: 2018

Off Broadway is an expansive world, filled with a variety of shows that can fit anyone's need. Here are the shows that will be arriving to various stages in 2018.

Atlantic Theatre Company's The Homecoming Queen written by Mgozi Anyanwu will begin preview at Stage 2 on January 10, 2018. Their production of Hangman will begin previews at the Linda Gross Theater on January 17th and will be directed by Matthew Dunster.

[Porto] from Women's Project Theatre and written by Kate Benson will begin previews at the McGinn Cazale Theatre on January 29, 2018 directed by Kate Benson.

Sarah Burgess' play Kings will begin previews on January 30, 2018 at The Public Theater directed by Thomas Kail who directed Hamilton at The Public and went with the production to Broadway.

Director Michael Greif of War Paint and Dear Evan Hansen will helm the production of Bruce Norris' The Low Road at The Public Theater which begins previews on February 13, 2018.

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for drama, Lynn Nottage, playwright of Tony Award nominated Sweat, will debut her new play Mlima's Tale at The Public Theater beginning on March 27, 2018.

Atlantic Theatre Company's Production of This Ain't No Disco penned by Rick Elice with music and lyrics by Stephen Trask and Peter Yanowitz will begin previews at the Linda Gross Theater on May 11, 2018. Their production of The Great Leap by Lauren Yee will begin previews at Stage 2 on May 23, 2018.

Playwright Rinne Groff's play Fire in Dreamland will begin previews at The Public Theater on July 17, 2018 and Marissa Wolf is scheduled to direct.

Off Broadway is always expanding and new shows may be added during the coming months to the line up of shows making their off Broadway debuts.
