Performer of the Week - July 11th

Throughout the month of July, we will be picking one member of a Broadway shows and writing a short piece about them for our performer of the week. This week we're featuring Laura Osnes of Bandstand.

Osnes made her Broadway debut in Grease originating the role of Sandy on Broadway. She went on to be the replacement for Nellie Forbush in the 2008 production of South Pacific before originating the role of Hope Harcourt in the 2011 production of Anything Goes alongside Sutton Foster and Joel Grey. Following her role in Anything Goes, she originated the role of Bonnie Parker in the short lived production Bonnie & Clyde alongside Newsies' alum Jeremy Jordan. She subsequently originated the role of Ella in the 2013 production of Cinderella before originating the role of Julia Trojan at Paper Mill Playhouse, and came with the production to Broadway.
